The ends of both white wires coming out of the romex in the light box look burned.

The travelers are connected straight through the light box. Only one of the whites is a traveler. The other white is the neutral from the power source.

That's exactly what I did. But I miss labeled one hot and that caused the issue I was having.

I'm ok. Just haven't had much to update. Still waiting on the well.

Been cleaning up and throwing things out. Not really worth updating. :

I did pick up four card file cabinets this weekend. Also got a few that are table top sized.
