Default looking for a step stool!

ok weird request. looking for a specific step stool. I am just about ot make one because I cant find it. I have seen them in use at walmart (for stocking shelves)so I know they exist

about 10inches high made from 1" round tubing in the shape of 2 inverted U's connected with horzonal bars. one step, 4 spring loaded casters that wheel with no weight but squat with weight applied.

checked grainger didnt see it

Cavalry, I know what your talking about. We have 2 in the house for the folks. The feet have non-skid booties to keep the old folks from skatin across the floor.

I say make your own and post pictures in the fab forum.

Cav Ive built that same type once at work. Guy ordered in the spring casters. It was kinda neat just made the frame and added the casters. Did add on four lil feet and got rubber caps to fit them. Rubber caps for wooden kicthen chairs. Worked really good. I wish I would have taken it with me when I got laid off

well I found the little guy.. lousiville ladder makes them with the wheel kit sold seperately gsw1601





probably going to just make my own... much more fun, and a reason to get more tools!

Congratulations. Making a ladder just might be cheaper than buying because of the mfg. liability insurance that has to cover them.
