Possible uses? Gear cutting, make sprockets or cut external splines.

It's sold to me as a project. Only one dividing plate. It's missing the indexing arm and pin.

I at least think it's a fair deal and with some elbow grease and a little machining I can get a useable dividing head out of it.

I think I could make the indexing arm on the Gorton mill.

Looks like even imported dividing heads start at $300+

Spindle has a #10 B&S internal taper.

I do plan on a rotary table.
Already have some involute gear cutters.
