Default Atlas Copco build

often overlooked when building up a compressor from used or rebuilt parts is the air reciever(tank) check valve, where the compressed air enters the tank..a lot of times they malfunction, hang up partially open, get leaky and cause issues with the pump building pressure and symptoms of high head pressure not being relieved,etc..these tank check valves keep the tank pressure from backing up into the compressor head..easy to repair(just install a new one, they're only about $20 from MSC,Grainger,or compressorparts) FWIW
