I had my 70 ton iron worker,a Burgmaster turret drill/mill,my mill and a lathe all hooked to one converter,i ean one machine at a time for years like that.
My converter was home made too.

But i have had a rotary phase converter or two.
I would be willing to bet that one big rotary converter will suck power like nobodys...

Lots of rules for fire prevention etc.
