Smile UPDATE: got the saw running...

With NO sample in hand, I went to ACE Hardware and picked up a couple feet of gas line that "looked" to be the right size. And it was--damn, I'm good! :D Had previously downloaded the owner's manual...

Quality welding equipment WILL hold its value and in your case probably appreciated in value. I've seen a couple used welders sell around here recently for about retail when new.
