The homemade stand on which the mill is mounted has wheels.
Transporting it to my place was relatively easy by winching it onto my tilt deck snowmachine trailer.

Yes, cast iron. seams kind of like an unfinished lathe faceplate but the center is not thick enough for that.

I need to extend an existing thread about a 1/4" up to a shoulder.
The thread is 1-1/16x16. I have ordered a die of the correct size but, I think single pointing would be a better way to do the task...

Yesterday, I noticed the alignment key seems to be missing or broken from the inside of the R-8 quill on my Grizzly milldrill. is this going to be a problem?
