You have a wire going to the metal part of the motor. You also have a coil or two of the motor in there. Between your lead contact point on lead 2...

Hex end is top, lower end is a collet, unscrew, pull out pin to expose sharp point and put back in to use flip back like you have it to store and not poke holes in stuff...
