But I use a two ft by four ft sheet of 3/4" plywood and the jack rolls while lifting the truck and I do lift some heavy equipment...

Be far cheaper to buy one over building it and just add the d rings and tire stop which is what I did initially, but the plan for trailer materials was for a super low walk and just slightly step-up...

The Dayton Is different not built the same and is far better jack than the HF not that I have no complaints about either one still have an HF Pittsburgh I use and it's 10 years old and still works...

yeah, one could use them for some form of sheet metal bending maybe even weld a small duckbill flange on them or die them up for a certain bend or shape
