Well, it's happened. the guys finally showed up for ground breaking.

The whole thing is a crazy fiasco of random acts.

Filed for the building permit last year and the building inspector...

Sorry shade, but no. It was a replacement flywheel vs drive pulley for the handle..

If the unit did not have a factory installed motor with gear drive, then this pulley would be on the left-hand...

This is one of the drill presses I wanted nearly all my life. Finally found it out in Natick Mass.

I had a version close to this one which was a 3speed.. Have never found any information on it...

Nice job Matt. all the engravers I have ever seen are pretty small and the grip fits inside the palm using the pointer and the thumb to guide the cutting edge..

One of the engravers vices or one...

While these anvils may not be on par with Eagle they are perfectly serviceable even with the defects.

The face is where the defects can be a problem and most anvils have some sort of defect...

Looking forward to the process and results. I've done stainless in the forge before and it turned out ok, but ideally as pointed out needs ideally to be done more controlled for optimum results.

MY pleasure.. I only remove the reheat times.. The part that takes so long is all the dual footage edits.. And then the zooms and covering certain aspects of the anvil like face to horn to heel...
