Not to hijack the thread but here are the last flames I painted. I pulled out the old insert and until I get the new one in I needed to plug the hole. I did it with spray cans.

The vise on that table is a Reed 206. On one of the other benches is a Reed 404r.
The red item is something a buddy that runs a refill shop gives me at no cost. Got one of those in every car I own....

Hera are a couple of my shop. It is a 720sf garage in my back yard that is stuffed to the gills with good stuff. Like all of us, it needs to be bigger but that ain't happening.

I see what you are saying because if you cut 16 gauge or thicker you don't really need it because it should not move or warp.
