I understood. That is the way I built it. The crate is only 40" long so fork adjustment will be likely. The crate can be easily moved with a hand cart. Probably only weighs 40 lbs.

The larger angle does help to keep your work...

The larger angle does help to keep your work flat. I made another similar one attached to a 2" square tube steel that I put in the truck receiver for doing longer stuff.

My drill press is a Craftsman 15 speed. The table is milled, but I would not call it a good machined surface. I cannot fix the nod, but I can get the table swivel accurate.

The voltage drop went from 12.8V to 3-4V. It is an old battery so maybe a bad cell in the battery? Could jump it with the side by side and see if it turns over?

I replaced the new solenoid with the old one and...

I replaced the new solenoid with the old one and it buzzed the same as the new one. I did try to jump it at the solenoid. No spark, starter did not turn.
