I would make a replacement piece from steel, butter the cast with nickel welding rod and weld it up with 7018

The rule here is to use the emergency brake...

The rule here is to use the emergency brake everyday or never, I vote never unless things have changed but here in the rust belt I never use it and usually cut the cables.

Well its blasted and painted and its still here, I finished the wiring today plus I had to make a door over the tray it had and a box to hold the battery because he decided to go with electric brakes.

I have run one and I think that it would be perfect for small repairs around the yard and as a portable generator. 30 percent means you can run it 3 minutes of continuous welding at 130 amps and rest...
