Just for shits and giggles I threw a brazed...
Just for shits and giggles I threw a brazed carbide lathe tool in a vise on the surface grinder. Mounted one of the diamond wheels and it cuts the carbide almost as easy as a hot knife in butter.

I ran a couple round column mills in high...
I ran a couple round column mills in high school....can’t recall the make though for sure.
Part of the reason that the drives were done that way was to synchronize them for certain operations....

I had an outboard tank setup similarly for diesels, used it as a clean source of fuel on older vehicles. They work well for different fuel uses.
