A quick glance at those 10K Warn winches shows...

A quick glance at those 10K Warn winches shows them to be about 5 or more HP motors. That's about 3,700 Watts - over 300A @ 12v. Probably a good bit more at at stall until they get cranking. ...

Last week, my son's work just got a couple new machines for him to babysit along with the Okuma. 5-axis machines. 15,000 pounds each and only 30 horsepower, so he won't be driving too fast.

I had a Honda S600 car that had an oil bath chain drive to the rear wheels from the differential. Sort of like a portal axle. The diff didn't move and the chain drive allowed independent suspension.
