What is the smallest W you have? Smaller dia. starts easier but will also burn off into the weld if you use too much amps.

I would say it depends on your budget. For what you would pay for a slightly used MillerMatic, you can get a brand-new import Multi-MIG that also has DC stick and TIG along with a gas cylinder.

Unplug machine, make sure caps are discharged and look for loose connections. Hot/cold cycles can sometimes do it. That blued connection may be loose: ie: high resistance.
