yup it is tapped.. however is it not the same welder as the one with the variable adjustment? Could you order that specific part from the welder manufacturer and swap them out?

Any kind of adjustment would be better than switches.. However I found a Lincoln 180HD mig for under 300.00 with less than "2 hours" on it. Gonna try and grab this.
