I posted it up over at iforgeiron and they seemed pretty confident that it is a Mousehole anvil. I got a scale and weight it at 389.2 lbs

I brushed it with a wire brush this morning and went over it with a soap stone. It did t seem to reveal much additional. I can see “RRAN”to the left and “HO” in the middle.

I'm not sure how much it weighs, It has 3 2 4 stamped on the side. So I think its either 324lbs or if they are stone markings it would be 396lbs. I don't have a good scale to weigh it.

That hoist looks heavy, you need an overhead hoist just to hook up the trailer hitch hoist. I like it.

One tip I wish I would have gotten early is to get a good thermometer. The best is a thermopen super fast. Cook the breasts to 155, they will be perfect.
