starter motor is fine, no fuel pump, heat gauge is not electric, only the gas gauge. The post on the fuel gauge that wire #9 goes to reads connecting a hot to this post will destroy the sending unit....

What a mess! I ripped all the wiring out only to find out that it was wired for positive ground with a negative ground battery. All the ground wires were melted and wires went every which-a- way....
