Great work, and keeping your girl happy is important. Must be a bit of a shock for her after living in California. I sure wish I had a shop like your when I was your age.

She's a Calgary girl, her folks have a house in Palm Springs that we visit but she hasn't lived there. She prefers Saskatchewan because the Chinooks give her migraines.

I'm lucky to have my shop but most of the luck is that I found the property I did. Its a great piece of land and its only 15 minutes to the edge of the city. I worked my butt off to get here financially. While the shop is great, the house leaves a bit to be desired. Houses are expensive, too. :(

I'm glad that the youtube format seems to be well received. It was kind of fun to do.

IIRRC, you got married there, and I thought she was from there, my mistake.
But you have the priorities right, build the shop first and then the shack. We are going through a re-assessment of our shack, as the kitchen is falling off.
