Please Read: E-mail address policy.

This is for all members and prospective members. It is the policy of this website to keep your email address confidential. I own and control this site completely. Your email address is kept confidential and will not be sold or distributed to spammers or other advertisers. Members can email one another but your actual email address is kept confidential. It is up to you if you wish to type in a post or not. Private messaging and email are kept private and not scanned.

I hate the excessive spam I receive, I will not contribute to it.

This site is a place for welders and fabricators can discuss items of interest, ask questions and share knowledge. From day one it was, "By welders, for welders."

Sincerely,
Ron

I get about 2 junk emails a month, and they don't come through despammed.com, they are where a spammer has gotten my main address somewhere.

If your despammed account starts to get junkmails, you can change that name or delete it and make another...without changing any info with your ISP.

Also, when posting your email address anywhere it's going to be public, it's good to write it as EngloidATdespammed.com or something like that so that the spambots that search the web for email addresses can't pick it up.

Junkmail is a big problem for many, but with the right measures, it can be greatly reduced.

And it's good to see the board picking up. Thanks for your work.

Thanks,
Engloid
