The large one runs great off CD. Try that. Trust me, you want it in your toolkit.
It's a weapon when working on Windows PCs. I used it to low-level format a Maxtor today (no need to hunt the utility) then partitioned it with Disk Management.
Meanwhile another copy was running on my "search machine" which I use to hunt drivers etc. I like the setup a lot and with a USB key I can download and run Portable Apps just as I would on an installed OS. It's easier to boot that CD than bother to configure a similar XP machine, which of course isn't portable.
Thanks man, I got the smaller of the 2 to run the mini xp. I had to burn the other and piddle with it. When I tried the bigger one on my VB it loaded up my machine and ground to a halt.
