Thanks ddoering. Metal fab is my 'relaxation hobby' and I enjoy working out and solving all the problems attendant.
I already have a line on the materials and I will measure out the tractor and figure out the bracket length and bumper width. I have the necessary tools to complete the project. I don't have TIG but I'm pretty good with MIG so I'll go that way.
To answer your question, I'm a maxillofacial orthopaedist (MD DDS) with a largely pediatric practice. I recently retired from active hospital surgery (age 71) and now I basically see patients in my office.
Back in the day I was privileged to be able to travel a bit and help out with some international disaster work. I promised my wife I'd quit about a year ago. I guess I spent enough time bouncing around in the back of an AF C130. It's almost as hard as treating patients in the back of an ambulance!
