Default Wilton 835 Vise

Ive always wanted one of these bullet style Wilton vises. When you find one around here they want a war pension for it. I just won this one on ebay for 56dollars, 82 bucks delivered. Was this a fair price for it??. It appears to be and is said to be in excellent condition. What do these bring in your area?

I'm sure that cutter will be along shortly to put his stamp of approval on it, but I can't see how you got hurt for that price if it operates smooth.

About 2 years.
That's a definite You Suck.
The tube and jaws appear to be excellent from what I can see.

What model# is it and what are the measurements?

Its a model 835 and I believe the jaws are 3 1/2 inchs or four inches. From what I can tell the thing is in great shape.

Ive attached some more pictures

Not much hammering. I would say you have a good vise.

duh, you said it in the title.

The first picture made it look like one of the bigger ones but that's still a nice little vise to have a round.
If you clean the bottom surface of the key you may find a date stamped in it.

Well cutter said it first, you suck. That thing is ready to bolt to a table and put to work. Good eye and enjoy that in the shop for the rest of your life.

I finally got around to unboxing the vise. Its in virtually new condition excluding the finish.(light surface rust. All it needs is a good cleaning and oiling. The jaws are perfect. The screw is perfect. It locks up tight and turns smooth. The date is 7-46. Id say this was a good deal.

I forgot to mention this. Even the paper tag (Five Year Guarantee) on the top of the bullet to the rear of the anvil is there. A small piece of it is missing but its still readable.
