I saw a guy line up a bundle of it and cut the whole thing with a chain saw.

The first answer was the best. Hot wire. My brother ran a rope factory and they made them to cut rope, they work great on foam too. It is the best easiest and least messy way to do it.

Make your own, get a 12volt transformer, probably 1 amp would do it, get two insulated handles of some kind, run a piece of stainless steel wire in between each side and wire in an on off switch and that should do it. You could probably do it even better with a battery charger. Do a search and you will probably find a thousand plans to build on. Be careful.

Randy has the idea.
Most guys just ues a razor knife with the blade extended out to max.
I have use an old kitchen knife with a longer blade.
But you are not talking a high precision job here.
It will snap just fine down a score.

The long serrated kitchen knives work well for foam but it sure would be fun to make a hot wire cutter
